The biggest variable in a clean room is the people. Despite all efforts and controls put into place, people are more prone to error than a set air filtration system, or the workings of a stepper.
Remove all jewelry and personal items from your pockets.
Do use only approved writing paper and pens such as a Clean room Notebooks.
Do use best practices when it comes to airflow. Remember that the product gets air first.
Do try to get to the service area, or gowning room, to blow your nose.
Use the utmost precautions when sneezing and coughing.
Bring any personal items into the cleanroom. This includes, watches, matches, pens, or lighters.
Wear any cosmetics into the cleanroom. This includes mascara, eyeliner, hair products all all sorts, aftershaves, perfumes, fingernail polish.
Don’t engage in any horseplay.
No leaning on surfaces or equipment.
Allow unauthorized personnel into the room.
Touch anything other than what you are working on, this means even scratching your face is prohibited.
