The relationship between primary filter and the air purification

 

Primary filter and air conditioner filter are consumables. Before 1984, China did not develop many filter elements. But today, as materials continue to grow and people demand it, filters are becoming a necessity. The relationship between primary filter and air conditioning filter and the need for air purification indicate that people are paying more and more attention to life and living environment.

Air quality has become an issue of increasing concern. How to purify the air and create a suitable air environment for people is the current research direction of the filtration and purification industry. Surface filtration and deep filtration are used for filtration (surface filtration is to intercept impurities outside the filter material, deep filtration is the labyrinth structure, leaving impurities in the filter material). The filter materials are metal mesh and nylon. Net, chemical fiber filter, paper filter, activated carbon, etc. How to choose the right filter in the right environment will be the topic we are going to explore today.

 

Classification :

  1. Classified by structure: Flat filter, folding filter, bag filter.
  2. Classified by filtration efficiency (the ability to intercept dust from a range of particles) : Primary filter, medium efficiency filter, hepa filter.

This classification method is official. Our country has issued the relevant standard GB/T 14295-93 Air Filter and GB/T 13554-92 HEPA Air Filter.

Selection:

  1. For small working condition, such as Laminar clean bench, Cleanroom air shower, Laminar flow hood and so on. Due to the small amount of air handled, the air inlet surface adopts the primary effect filter, and the air supply end uses the high efficiency filter.
  2. For the purification of air conditioning systems, this situation is generally provided with specific parameters, as required.
  1. In class 1000-100000 air purification system, it usually adopts three-stage air filtration, including Primary filter, medium efficiency filter, hepa filter. The pre-filter, medium efficiency filter are generally placed in the air treatment unit, and the pre-filteris placed in the positive pressure section, and the sub-hepa filter or hepa filter is placed at the end of the air conditioning purification system.
  2. In class 100-1000 air purification system, primary filter, medium efficiency filter and hepa filter are usually set in the fresh air treatment unit. Also sub-hepa filter or hepa filter are set in the clean room circulation air system. A hepa filter is placed at the end of the clean air conditioning unit, which is the ceiling of the clean room. For ultra-efficient filters, they must be located at the end of the air conditioning system to ensure the air cleanliness meeting the requirement.

Through the above, it can be found that the system uses hierarchical filtering. For a variety of situations from different working environments, buyers should select the corresponding precision filter in combination with the working environment and industry requirements to achieve air cleanliness requirements.
